Our Story
We are a luxury glamping service that provide indoor and outdoor glamping experiences, mini teepee sleepovers, and luxury picnics to our guests at a location of their choice. Here at Honeybee we want to make camping all the more convenient and accessible for you. Whether you are an adventurer wanting us to set up in one of your favorite local campsites, a family looking to sleep under the stars for a few nights in your very own backyard, have a romantic picnic, taking your sleepover to the next level, or just wanting to add that extra special touch to your event... we got you!
We are based in Youngstown Ohio and serve surrounding areas. At this time, when booking for a campsite please let Honeybee Tents & Events know specific dates where you plan to stay and we will collaborate to find the perfect days for you.
MEET THE OWNER
My name is Michelene Zalac, (but most everyone calls me Mickey!) and I am the owner of Honeybee Tents & Events.
I am a fellow adventurer and lover of the outdoors. When I am not setting up these majestic tents for you, you can find me hiking, teaching yoga, thrifting, tending to my garden, and kickin it with my 3 kids, husband, 2 dogs, cat, and chickens.
My motto is work hard, play harder. The vision for Honeybee Tents & Events is to give you a completely customized experience. Be it an indoor sleepover with our mini teepees, a glamping celebration in your backyard, a luxury picnic, movie night or enjoying a one of a kind camping experience at one of the many local campsites. We want you to show up and immediately feel at ease. We want you to feel like a guest at your own party. This way you have more time for adventures and spending time with the people you love.

I can’t say enough about our family camping weekend at our home! Honeybee’s didn’t miss ANYTHING to make us feel super comfortable. They truly thought of everything. We have a three year old and a two year old and it was the perfect happy medium to make us feel like we were away camping, but we were right in our backyard.
